After undergoing a complete makeover, the Nuances Restaurant, recipient of the CAA/AAA's Five Diamond rating without interruption since 2000, reopened its doors on March 20 showcasing its brand new décor.
A Passionate Team
In order to realize the various elements involved in Nuances' transformation, the restaurant team called upon the passion of artists and artisans who let their imagination and enthusiasm run free to give birth to the new Nuances experience now described as the "Awakening of the Senses". Pascale Vaillancourt of CDID Design, working in collaboration with the expert architectural firm of Menkès Shooner Dagenais Letourneux, was responsible for revitalizing the dining room's décor with fresh new textures and colours. For their part, Jean-Claude Poitras and Marcel Dénommé from 2 Corso Design were called upon to fashion attractive new outfits for the staff. Others lending their exceptional talents to the makeover included Louise Bousquet of Porcelaines Bousquet, whose porcelain creations harmonized perfectly with the wooden presentation plates produced by Colin Schleeh of Schleeh Design. The glass plates were crafted by Annie Michaud of Gogo Glass. Finally, Nuances' attractive new graphic signature is the handiwork of Loto-Québec's Germain Bergevin.

According to Executive Chef Jean-Pierre Curtat, "the new Nuances is the product of the outstanding work of a dedicated team whose members each contributed their respective expertise to the success of the project. The end result exceeds our expectations and is a veritable feast for all the senses."

The official reopening of the Nuances Restaurant unfolded in three phases from Tuesday, March 27 to Thursday, March 29. Specialized media in the gastronomy, tourism and design fields, along with a number of special guests all converged on the dining room over the course of three memorable soirées organized to mark this festive occasion, culminating with numerous personalities from Québec's artistic milieu assembled on March 29 for an evening brimming with warmth and elegance.
While applauding the creative artists and artisans responsible for this remarkable transformation, guests had an opportunity to savour a magnificent meal specially prepared for the celebration by the Nuances team.
